“After forty-five-years-plus as an adventure practitioner and teacher, Jim believes that it doesn’t really matter if you’ve picked the perfect game, whether you’ve created just the right activity sequence or lesson plan- what really matters is how well you connect as a person and form a relationship with those with whom you’re working.“ While uncertainty is at an all time high, this workshop will guide you through a process of reassurance and clarification of what stays consistent through all variables, and the richest and most meaningful part of your classroom or program is YOU !
Jim Grout is the executive director and one of the founders of High 5 Adventure Learning Center and a veteran of more than 45 years in the adventure education field. Jim’s extensive knowledge and avid commitment to the power of experiential education are evident throughout High 5’s programs. Jim’s “When in Doubt, Give Them Your Heart” has been a favorite of conference attendees since it was first launched a decade ago.
