Make Engaging Trainings Easy and Creative with Facilitator Cards
A deck for you, not your participants.
Meg Bolger and Sam Killermann, the co-authors of Unlocking the Magic of Facilitation and co-creators of The Safe Zone Project, have launched Facilitator Cards: A deck for you, not your participants. Facilitator Cards are a new processing tool for planning training agendas, responding to your group’s needs, improvising when the unexpected comes up, and getting on the same page with your co-facilitator. The cards are waterproof and compatible with wet-erase markers, so you can write your notes directly on them (then wipe them off when you’re done!).
The deck includes 60 cards, divided into four main categories. You’ll find 15 processes for facilitating emotion, ideation, clarification, and execution, as well as blank cards you can customize with your favorite activity or facilitation technique.
“We’ve been using makeshift versions of Facilitator Cards for years in our own facilitation,” says Facilitator Cards developer Meg Bolger. “I’m stoked to be able to have one deck that will last me forever, that I can use again and again, in all the different workshops and training contexts I find myself in.”
Facilitator Cards are ideal for facilitators, trainers, educators, meeting leaders, conference presenters, and anyone else who engages groups in process. They’re a convenient and creativity-inducing way to add interactivity to any gathering.
About Facilitator Cards
Facilitator Cards were developed by Meg Bolger and Sam Killermann, the same two humans behind Facilitating.XYZ (a free online resource for all facilitators), Unlocking the Magic of Facilitation (a book about key facilitator concepts), & The Safe Zone Project (free curriculum & train-the-trainer retreat guide).
