Australian Belay Tethers - Edelrid HMPE CORD SLING 6MM

The Australian Belay is a group belay method. Its use and acceptance in school and camp programs has increased as it has been recognized as a practice that involves more participants in the belay process. We recommend using these in a set of five (two long and three short).

The Tethers are sewn round slings made of kernmantle material. The tightly braided polyester sheath is abrasion resistant, stiffens the sling to make it easier to create threads, and generates a good clamping force when used as a prusik sling. The HMPE core is extremely strong and offers outstanding permanent flexural strength.
